The 2008 CROP Walk was a great success
Nearly 400 walkers, from 30 congregations and five schools in ten area towns, raised $47,342 in the 28th annual Concord Area CROP Walk for the Hungry. Thanks to everyone for making this walk a success!

About Concord CROP
CROP Hunger Walks are "Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty"-- neighbors walking together to take a stand against hunger in our world.
Funds raised by the Concord area CROP Walk go to Church World Service (CWS) for worldwide emergency relief of disasters, such as floods, hurricanes, and earthquakes; for refugee aid; and for fighting the root causes of hunger through community development programs in 80 underdeveloped countries. In addition, one quarter of these funds raised will provide substantial contributions to the seven local supper/food pantry programs that we support.
See the Crop Walk brochure for examples of CWS Development programs.
